Apple has discontinued direct message support on the X

Apple, which has been providing direct message support on X since 2016, has discontinued the service since October 1.

Apple has stopped providing direct message support to its users on the X.
Starting Oct. 1, people who send direct messages to Apple's official X account (@AppleSupport) began receiving an automatic response with a link to the support page on the company's website and in the Apple Support app.

Apple will continue to share helpful tips, tricks and information on the Support channel on YouTube, it said.
