Oman's sovereign wealth fund has invested in Elon Musk's brain implant technology company Neuralink. According to reports, the Oman Investment Authority aims to expand its international portfolio in the field of medical technologies with this step.

Although the amount of the investment was not disclosed, it is reported that the fund has increased its interest in Musk's technology companies in recent years. The Omani fund has previously invested in xAI and has a stake in SpaceX.

Founded in 2016, Neuralink develops brain implants for the treatment of stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other neurological diseases. According to the company, by the beginning of 2026, 21 patients had already been implanted with implants.

Neuralink plans to increase the number of these procedures to 1,000 by the end of the year. The company is working on technologies that directly connect the human brain with computers and is considered one of the most ambitious projects in this field.
