The logo of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) has been presented to the public.
The presentation was shown at the first press conference held at the COP29 headquarters.
It was reported that the logo, which includes a set of multifaceted initiatives of the COP29 presidency, based on the synthesis of the symbols of a bush, leaf and water drops, appealed to the ecological sensitivity in the context of the importance of natural resources and the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
Rooted in the historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, the buta motif not only contains sustainability and innovation, but also bridges the gap between the past and the future. The combination of bushes represents unity, and the bushes in the form of illustrative water drops represent five different elements in themselves - flora and fauna, air and wind, water, energy and the universe.
The logo of COP29 reflects the importance of the continuous connection between humanity and the environment, environmentally sensitive behavior and action in a time of increasing climate challenges.
