The “Land of Fire” team representing the Republic of Azerbaijan has won the title of winner of Armython 2025, the first international cybersecurity competition for armed forces and security agencies in the Middle East and Africa region.
The team, by performing complex cyber defense scenarios, encryption tasks and real cyber attack models with high professionalism throughout the competition, left participants from other countries behind and secured first place. The level of preparation, analytical skills and operational decision-making ability of the Azerbaijani military were highly appreciated by the jury.
The Armython competition is organized by the Jordanian Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) and is considered one of the most influential platforms in the field of cybersecurity in the region. The main goal of the competition is to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of the power structures and develop international cooperation.
The victory achieved by the Azerbaijani “Land of Fire” team is considered a clear indicator of our country’s growing potential in the field of military cybersecurity, high level of preparation and sustainable development strategy towards digital security.
