“AzInTelecom” LLC has obtained the “PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance” certificate, which sets global standards for “cloud” services in the payment ecosystem.
The company became the first “cloud” provider in the CIS to obtain the “PCI DSS” certificate version 4.0.1. Thus, the Baku Main Data Center owned by “AzInTelecom” has been confirmed to be compliant with the “cloud” services for financial institutions. “AzInTelecom” now has a “PCI DSS” compliance certificate for both “cloud” and “hosting”. This means that all institutions operating in the financial sector can now obtain “cloud” services from “AzInTelecom”.
To obtain the certificate, an initial assessment was first conducted by the authorized “Quality Veritas” company in Azerbaijan, and an audit was conducted by independent auditors. As a result of the audit, compliance was confirmed and “PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance” certificate was presented to “AzInTelecom” LLC.
It should be noted that the “PCI DSS” standard was formulated in 2006 by the “PCI SSC” (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council) organization, which was created by international payment brands such as “Visa”, “MasterCard”, “American Express”, “Discover” and JCB. The organization’s goal is to protect payment card data and strengthen the security of payment transactions.
Currently, “AzInTelecom” LLC provides “cloud” services to about 250 organizations through two modern Data Centers.
