Drivers have encountered an unusual situation at “LUKOIL” gas stations, where customers wishing to pay for fuel online or by card were denied. Instead, they were told that payments could only be made in cash.
A station employee, who clarified the situation, confirmed that this decision is new. According to him, the acceptance of card payments was suspended starting from around 7 p.m. the previous evening. Employees were strictly instructed by management to accept cash payments only.
So far, no official explanation has been provided for this sudden change. However, it is believed that the payment restrictions may be linked to sanctions imposed on the company.
