Chinese technologies are causing concern in the US

China's recent achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, chip manufacturing and robotics have caused serious discussions both in Silicon Valley and in the White House. Open-source artificial intelligence models, new generation chips and humanoid robots introduced in recent weeks have begun to influence the strategies of US technology companies and markets.

One of the most striking innovations is the open-source Kimi K3 model presented by the company Moonshot AI. This model is considered a competitor to commercial models from companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic in some tasks and is offered at a lower price.

Against this background, a disagreement has arisen in the technology sector in the US. OpenAI and Anthropic have stated that Chinese models pose security risks and are demanding restrictions. On the other hand, Microsoft, Nvidia, Meta and Palantir have opposed restrictions on open-source models, saying that they accelerate innovation.

The US administration also does not have a unified position. On the one hand, sanctions and restrictions against Chinese technologies are being discussed, while on the other hand, the widespread use of these models by businesses is making decision-making difficult.

In addition, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has banned the use of Chinese-made humanoid robots, citing national security risks. At the same time, news that China has begun mass production of special chips essential for artificial intelligence has caused a sharp decline in shares of semiconductor companies, wiping about $ 1 trillion from the market.
