Elon Musk introduced xAI Grok, which he developed as a competitor to ChatGPT. Claimed to be better than AI bots on the market, Grok uses real-time data along with snapshots from X/Twitter. Elon Musk yesterday activated the artificial intelligence developed by xAI, a company he founded for artificial intelligence research, for a "limited number of users". Explaining that they will combine video viewing, live streaming, and AI-powered chat platforms under the X umbrella, Musk said that the xAI Grok system is designed to inject some humor into his responses and is better than any AI platform currently out there. Noting that the platform will be made available to all users when the early access tests are completed, Musk emphasized that they will require X Premium Plus subscription for xAI. The company will offer its new technology only to users who have purchased a Premium Plus subscription on the X platform.
