Ferrari has revealed the official name and interior design of its first all-electric car, the Luce. The work on the model was carried out in collaboration with the LoveFrom design studio, led by former Apple chief designer Jony Ive. The presentation of the car’s interior is considered the second phase of the project, while the exterior design will be shown in May 2026.
The interior of the Luce model is designed based on a “human-centric” approach. Ferrari abandoned the dominance of touch panels in favor of physical and mechanical controls in order to reduce the driver’s attention load.
The car’s main instrument cluster consists of a 12.86-inch OLED screen and is inspired by the Veglia and Jaeger devices used in classic Ferrari models. The speedometer is a physical element made of anodized aluminum and is equipped with LED lighting. The 10.12-inch central screen can be turned to face the driver or passenger.
The Luce model’s interior has completely abandoned plastic materials. 100 percent recycled aluminum was used as the main material. Technically, the car's powertrain is said to be over 1,000 horsepower. Ferrari representatives emphasize that the main goal of the project is to create a design that is durable and technologically resistant to wear and tear.
