Google launches AI app that works silently offline

Google has introduced a new dictation app called “Google AI Edge Eloquent” for the iOS platform. The app, which works without the need for the Internet, allows users to convert voice to text.

After the voice recognition models are loaded in the app, the dictation process begins and the text is displayed on the screen in real time. During the pause, redundant words such as “um”, “ah” are automatically removed, presenting a more fluent and edited text.

Users can put the text into different forms with the “Main Points”, “Formal”, “Short” and “Long” options. At the same time, it is possible to use the function of working only on the device by turning off the cloud mode.

The app stores the dictation history, provides search capabilities and provides indicators such as speech rate. The app, which is currently only available for iOS, is expected to be launched on Android soon.
