Iran threatens Stargate artificial intelligence data centers

Iran has warned of new attacks on artificial intelligence data centers in the Middle East. The official statement said that if the US strikes Iranian civilian infrastructure, Tehran will also target energy and technology facilities in the region.

A video released by Iranian military spokesman Ibrahim Zolfaghari drew attention to the “Stargate” data center in the United Arab Emirates and gave the message that “nothing escapes our attention.”

The “Stargate” project is an artificial intelligence data center initiative created by OpenAI, SoftBank and Oracle and worth a total of $ 500 billion.

Tensions have increased after Donald Trump’s statements that Iran’s critical infrastructure may be attacked. Some data centers in the region have already been reported to have been subjected to missile attacks.

According to reports, Iranian missiles hit the data centers of Amazon Web Services in Bahrain and Oracle in Dubai. In addition, companies such as Nvidia and Apple were also listed as targets.
