The number of active commercial institutions increased by 10.9 percent
As of September 1, 2024, 87.2 percent of the 1,570,205 taxpayers registered in the republic were individuals, 12.8 percent were legal entities and other organizations. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the total number of taxpayers increased by 89,947 units (6.1 percent), including the number of individuals by 76,266 units (5.9 percent), and the number of legal entities by 13,681 units (7.3 percent). As of September 1, the number of registered commercial institutions was 184,820 units.
In the months of January-August 2024, 8,741 units of commercial institutions were registered, of which 7,791 (89.1 percent) are domestically invested enterprises, and 950 (10.9 percent) are foreign-invested enterprises. 7,117 (81.4 percent) of state-registered commercial institutions were registered electronically, 5,726 of them were registered with Asan Imza, 1,372 with fincode+mobile method, and 19 with "SIMA" digital signature.
As of September 1, 2024, the number of active VAT payers within the state-registered commercial entities amounted to 38,564 units, increasing by 15.7 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2023. The special weight of VAT payers in the total registration was 32.1 percent. As of that date, 91.2 percent of state-registered commercial legal entities are limited liability companies, 1.2 percent are joint-stock companies, 1.1 percent are cooperatives, etc. created in forms.
As of September 1, 2024, the number of active commercial entities registered with the state increased by 10.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
