Apple will begin trial production of the iPhone 18 smartphones in March 2026. The initial production process is planned to start immediately after the Chinese New Year holidays. Since the company’s supply chain relies on Chinese partners, work will accelerate as soon as the factories return to normal operations.
Production lines for the iPhone 18 Pro model have already been set up, indicating that the device’s design and technical specifications have been finalized. The new flagship model is expected to look similar to the iPhone 17 Pro externally. Apple is reportedly focusing on the device’s internal performance, particularly on more powerful processors that support artificial intelligence capabilities.
As every year, Apple will unveil the iPhone 18 series at an official event in September 2026. Starting production in March will allow the company to build sufficient inventory for the official fall sales.
