Meta has introduced an AI-powered voice cloning tool developed at the Facebook AI Research (FAIR) lab: Audiobox.
Audiobox is described as an audio production tool that builds on its previous work, Voicebox. This tool can generate various sounds and sound effects using voice inputs and natural language text prompts. Users can type in any sentence or describe the sound they want to create, allowing Audiobox to complete the rest of the process on its own. In addition, users can record their own voice and clone it through Audiobox. Meta stated that Audiobox is a research demo and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
