Microsoft has opened access to Windows and Office updates for Russians. Russians can now install the latest Windows 11 23H2 update via Windows Update. Previously, updates had to be done over a VPN.
Microsoft has also failed to fulfill its promise to block Russian companies' access to software. The blocking was supposed to happen after March 20. It should be recalled that in 2022, Microsoft announced that it would stop operating in Russia.
