Microsoft has announced an additional $700 million investment to strengthen Poland's cybersecurity system. This investment represents the second phase of the company's 1 billion dollar plan, which was allocated in 2020 to establish three new data centers in Poland.
In addition to its data centers in Poland, the company plans to enhance the country's cybersecurity capabilities. These data centers, which began operations in 2023, have been providing high-security cloud services to businesses and government institutions in Poland.
The new investment also aims to transform Poland into a major technology hub in Central and Eastern Europe. Through this move, Microsoft seeks to enhance Poland's cybersecurity strength while expanding cloud services to a broader audience.
