In January-June of this year, a total of 226,804 "ASAN İmza" electronic signature certificates were issued in Azerbaijan. This is 0.3% more than in the same period last year. "ASAN İmza" certificates were issued based on 145,061 applications. This is 3.3% less than a year ago.
"ASAN İmza" electronic signature certificates are divided into three categories: electronic signature certificates intended for individuals (citizens), legal entities and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities, as well as civil servants. Electronic signature certificates for individuals are intended for personal use. Electronic signature certificates prepared for legal entities and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities, as well as civil servants, give the right to represent a commercial or state institution and act on behalf of that institution.
The validity period of the certificates is 3 years.
