Within the framework of various educational initiatives implemented by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDIA), about 10 thousand graduates have been trained to date.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Hasanov at the closing ceremony of the "IT SkillSprint" project, an international intensive training program on digital skills in higher education institutions.
According to him, the educational initiatives implemented by the Agency are aimed at establishing a sustainable connection between education, practical experience and employment: "The goal is for students not to be satisfied with only theoretical knowledge, but to participate in real projects and to be formed as specialists ready for the labor market. For this purpose, the "Hire and Train" model is applied, which promotes personnel training in accordance with the needs of the industry. Within the framework of the model, local specialists are trained with the participation of international technology companies and involved in specific projects".
R. Hasanov said that the implemented projects serve the formation of competitive human capital in the country, the development of digital skills and the preparation of qualified personnel who meet the requirements of the labor market.
