Ozone, whose warehouses were hit by UAVs, has begun the application of the SI agent

Ozon, one of the largest online shopping platforms in Russia, has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) assistant in pilot mode to make it easier for users to choose a product. The feature is currently active for a limited number of users and is aimed primarily at helping customers who are undecided about which product to buy.

The new AI assistant works on the basis of Ozon’s anonymized data. The system analyzes users’ search queries, purchase history, product reviews, and current prices to provide personalized recommendations.

Users can switch to a special AI mode and communicate with the assistant via chat. The AI asks questions about budget, product features, and intended use, and then suggests the most suitable products based on price, delivery time, user ratings, and reviews.

It should be noted that some time ago, as a result of drone attacks carried out by Ukraine, some of Ozon’s logistics and warehouse facilities in Russia were damaged and there were temporary interruptions in its operations. Nevertheless, the company continues to expand its digital services and invest in AI solutions.
