Revolut launches its first physical crypto card

Revolut has introduced its first physical crypto card. The new card, which the company launched on May 18, is designed in the Dogecoin design and is activated with an LED light effect during payment.

The new card has been launched in the UK and the European Economic Area. The card works at all points where Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

According to Revolut, users will be able to pay directly with their cryptocurrency balance. The system will automatically convert the cryptocurrency into fiat money during the purchase and no additional conversion fee will be applied.

The maximum limit for a single transaction on the card has been set at 100 thousand pounds sterling. It will also be possible to make 100 currency exchanges within 24 hours.

The company says that this step aims to further increase the use of cryptocurrencies in everyday payments. Revolut currently has more than 70 million users worldwide.

Note that the company obtained a full banking license in the UK in March and has also applied for entry into the US market.
