"SOCAR Turkey", a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which operates in the main business areas of oil refining, petrochemical, natural gas and energy trade in Turkey, is disposing of the telecommunication company "Millenicom", which is one of the group companies outside these areas.
It was reported that "Millenicom" already has "Albaraka Portföy Yönetimi" A.Ş. within the framework of this agreement. It will serve its clients under the umbrella of the Fourth Mixed Venture Capital Investment Fund.
It should be noted that since 2019, Millenicom, which has been part of the SOCAR Turkey group, has become one of the leading alternative operators in Turkey, providing fast, non-committal and unlimited fiber internet service to approximately 400,000 subscribers. The company is well-respected in the sector for its customer satisfaction-oriented approach, while providing high-speed and uninterrupted internet service to individual and corporate customers.
With the implementation of this sale, SOCAR Turkey will contribute to the realization of its goals of increasing operational efficiency and sustainable growth by focusing on the main business areas of oil refining, petrochemicals and natural gas.
