Starlink has announced a strategic partnership with Beeline Kazakhstan, a digital operator owned by Veon. The collaboration aims to provide accessible satellite communication across the entire country, particularly in remote and rural areas not covered by terrestrial networks.
The service is expected to launch in 2026. Initially, Beeline will offer messaging services powered by Starlink’s satellite technology, followed by mobile internet connectivity in later stages.
Yevgeny Nastradin, CEO of Beeline Kazakhstan, stated that this partnership marks a significant step toward ensuring reliable communication throughout Kazakhstan. The integration of Starlink’s Direct to Cell satellite technology with Beeline’s existing terrestrial infrastructure will help eliminate connectivity issues even in the most remote regions.
Notably, Starlink officially began providing satellite internet services in Kazakhstan on August 13, 2025. Since 2023, the connection had been tested in pilot mode, mainly in rural schools.
