According to the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh government has signed a memorandum of cooperation with OpenAI on the implementation of artificial intelligence in the education system.
The meeting between OpenAI representatives and Kazakh officials took place in Washington, D.C. The signed document lays the foundation for long-term collaboration in integrating AI solutions into Kazakhstan’s education sector.
Under this agreement, Kazakh educators will gain access to a special version of ChatGPT Edu designed for educational institutions. Over the next three years, OpenAI will provide at least 165,000 licenses annually for teachers.
This initiative aims to support Kazakhstan’s national strategy for digital transformation and human capital development.
