Taleh Karimli, Head of the Innovation Ecosystem Department of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDIA), visited the Plug and Play Tech Center office in Silicon Valley as part of his visit to the US.
During the visit, Taleh Karimli met with Said Amidi, Founder and CEO of Plug and Play, as well as Michael Olmsted and Sherif Sadaevi, Heads of International Partnerships of the organization.
The meeting discussed cooperation opportunities in the development of Azerbaijan's innovation ecosystem, strengthening the startup environment, and integration into global innovation networks. The parties also considered the prospects for the implementation of joint projects, acceleration programs, and investment initiatives in the future.
Taleh Karimli said that such international relations are of great importance in terms of facilitating the access of Azerbaijani startups to global markets, as well as enriching the local innovation ecosystem with international experience.
It should be noted that Plug and Play Tech Center is one of the largest innovation platforms in the world and operates in Silicon Valley. The platform brings together thousands of startups and large corporations from different countries, supporting the development and commercialization of innovative solutions.
