More than 100 teams qualified for the next round
On March 2-3, the regional competitions of "Robotex Turkey" held in Baku with the main sponsorship of "Azercell" and the partnership of Nakhchivan State University ended. This series of festivals organized in the field of robotics gathered more than 1,500 participants.
Young participants from Azerbaijan and Turkey presented their projects on robot coding and robot development, as well as their startups, during 2 days. In addition to pupils and students, contestants representing private enterprises also took part in the competition. From the teams competing in 19 different categories, 109 teams were selected as winners and qualified for the next round. In order to further increase girls' interest in fields such as robotic engineering, innovation, and ICT, 3 female teams were awarded special nominations as part of the competition.
The next stage of the competition will take place on April 20-21 in Antalya, Turkey. In addition to Azerbaijan and Turkey, participants from Kazakhstan will also participate in the competition. Distinguished teams will have the right to participate in the international robot championship to be held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
"Robotex Turkey" was held in our country with the support of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Public Union "Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan".
