Ulku Rowe, a Turkish computer engineer working at Google, filed a lawsuit against Google, claiming that he was subjected to gender discrimination.
Rowe claims she was hired for less than men with equal or lesser qualifications.
He claimed that when he brought his complaint to company officials, Google retaliated, deprived him of promotion opportunities and even demoted him. A Turkish engineer claims that one of her managers excluded her from meetings, email lists and off-site teams to which her male colleagues were invited.
