The first “Victory of Azerbaijan” satellite built by Azerbaijani school students was successfully launched into orbit from the Vandenberg Space Force Base aboard the Falcon 9 rocket operated by SpaceX.
Developed by students of School No. 297 within the National Satellite Innovation Competition organized by SPACE Academy, this small-sized pocketqube satellite is now officially in space.
This project, realized as a joint initiative between Azercosmos’ SPACE Academy and the Brazilian company IDEIA Space, is considered a historic turning point for the country’s education and innovation ecosystem.
