Turkey invests 30 billion dollars in high technology

The Promotional Meeting of the HIT-30 High Technology Promotion Program organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology at the Atatürk Cultural Center was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, gave information about the incentive program in his press release after the presentation ceremony.
Kacır stated that within the HIT-30 High Technology Promotion Program, they aim to bring global investments to Turkey, particularly in innovative and developing technology fields.
President Erdogan made important statements at the Promotional Meeting of the High Technology Promotion Program. Erdogan said, "We aim to bring at least 20 billion dollars of private sector investment. We will direct 30 billion dollars to high-tech investments."
President Erdogan's statements are as follows:
"At the beginning of my remarks, I would like to thank all our industrialists who contribute to the Turkish economy through production, employment, export, trade and investment. We have personally expressed our gratitude to many companies from the defense industry. From automotive, chemical to solar energy steps, we will continue to keep our word from now on, especially with the actions you have proposed. God willing, no one will be able to separate us from you.
Then he added, "With the HIT-30 Program, we will direct a total of 30 billion dollars of tax incentives and grant support to high-tech investments. We aim to raise at least $20 billion with these 6 challenges we announced today. Private sector investment in our country will greatly contribute to our development journey in the increasingly important areas of technology."
