Turkish edtech company Perculus has been acquired by Switzerland-based Constructor Tech. With this acquisition, Perculus aims to leverage Constructor Tech's expertise in artificial intelligence and large language models to make its platform smarter and more efficient, expand AI-powered educational solutions, and increase its access to global markets.
Perculus, founded by Cem Atacık and Zafer Gürel, provides a range of tools to make online learning more interactive and effective. Currently, more than 200,000 trainers and over 350 higher education institutions use the Perculus platform.
Constructor Tech is a platform that offers comprehensive solutions in education and research. Its merger with Perculus will accelerate innovation in the education sector and help secure a larger presence in the global education market. As a result of the acquisition, Perculus's previous investor, Boğaziçi Ventures, has exited the investment. Cem Atacık stated that this collaboration will enable Perculus to grow internationally and explore more advanced applications in the education sector. He also emphasized that Perculus will continue to serve its customers in Turkey with the same team and a wider range of products.
