The U.S. Commerce Department said Thursday that the Biden administration may use Kaspersky Lab's cybersecurity software across the U.S. amid fears the Russian government may be aiding its operations.
U.S. officials have long been concerned about Kaspersky software security laws and allegations that Russia gives Vladimir Putin's government access to Kaspersky's systems and, therefore, information about its entire structure.
