WhatsApp has introduced the "See once" feature to voice messages

WhatsApp has also brought the "View once" function to voice messages. Users can now set voice messages sent during a conversation to be heard once. Voicemails will automatically disappear after listening.

The new feature appears to be an extension of WhatsApp's 'View Once' feature, which was proposed to increase privacy. Voicemails will be deleted if they are not listened to once within 14 days of being sent. The feature reportedly allows users to share sensitive information more securely. When "View Once" is enabled, sent media content is not forwarded, stored or shared with others. Voice messages also continue to be protected by end-to-end encryption. The new feature will gradually become available to all users in the coming days.
