Wildberries online store will start sourcing products, including electronics and smartphones, from suppliers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was announced by the company's press service, RWB (Wildberries & Russ).
This move will ensure that devices launched in the UAE will be available earlier than in Russia and often at lower prices. Buyers will be able to place orders for delivery to any Wildberries pickup point.
The delivery time will start from six days, depending on product availability and the time needed for customs clearance. Customs duties will be automatically calculated and included in the final price. It is important to note that in Russia, customs duties are applied to foreign purchases over €200.
In the future, Wildberries plans to expand its product range sourced from the UAE and speed up logistics. Currently, the company imports goods from the CIS countries and China, with Chinese suppliers making up less than 1% of the marketplace's total sellers.
