Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI is no longer operating as an independent company. The company has rebranded as SpaceXAI and will continue to operate as a division of SpaceX.
As part of the rebranding, the company's official account on the X social network has been renamed, as well as a new logo has been introduced. The SpaceXAI name has previously been used in some official statements, including when announcing a partnership with Anthropic.
The changes are considered the next stage in the integration process that began with SpaceX's acquisition of xAI and the X social platform in February 2026. After that deal, the company's market value was reported to have increased to $ 1.25 trillion.
Elon Musk announced in May that he would liquidate xAI as a separate company and merge it under the name SpaceXAI. The rebranding took place about a month after SpaceX's stock market debut.
According to the report, SpaceX raised $75 billion in its IPO on June 11, 2026, by placing 555.6 million shares at $135 each. Later, on June 15, the amount of funds raised was increased to $85.7 billion as a result of an additional share placement.
