Apple's newly introduced MacBook Neo model has sold 1.1 million units in just three weeks after its launch. This was reported by TechCrunch, citing IDC data.
According to the information, the record figure was achieved in March. Interestingly, at that time, the laptop was available on the market for only three weeks.
For comparison, sales of the MacBook Air M5 model, which was introduced at the same time as the MacBook Neo, reached 900 thousand units. However, until now, the main sales burden in Apple's Mac series was carried by the MacBook Air.
The success of the MacBook Neo has also affected the strategies of competitors. A number of companies have begun to produce laptops at a more affordable price, and some manufacturers say that they are introducing their products to compete directly with the MacBook Neo. For example, Dell has launched an updated XPS 13 model for $ 700 for this purpose.
