15% growth was achieved in creative industries after income tax

Kazakhstan's creative industries grew by 15% after tax incentives. According to the information provided by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the number of creative industry subjects increased by 15% or 6,033 and reached 45,597 subjects after tax concessions. This growth shows the effectiveness of the support given to the creative industries in the country and the applied tax incentives. In order to promote the development of creative industries, the government of Kazakhstan reduced the tax burden and tried to improve the working conditions of enterprises operating in these industries.

Creative industries include areas such as culture, art, media and technology and play an important role in Kazakhstan's economic development. With the introduction of tax benefits, the number of enterprises and individuals working in these fields has increased, and it has also become possible to expand activities in these fields and diversify the economy.

Currently, 134,207 Kazakh residents work in the creative industries, which will double by 2029.

According to the UN, creative industries include advertising, architecture, arts and crafts, design, fashion, film, video, photography, music, performing arts, publishing, information technology, software and video game development, musical instrument manufacturing, cultural heritage preservation, museums, libraries and archives.

Experts expect this growth to continue and Kazakhstan to become a stronger player in the creative industries.
