4SIM has published its annual report for 2023

The Center for the Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy has published its annual report reflecting the activities of the institution for 2023. In the document, which consists of 7 sections, there is a foreword from the head of the institution, information on the implementation of projects implemented by 4SIM, cooperation with the World Economic Forum, cooperation with local and international organizations, events and meetings held during the year, work done in connection with the New Generation Economy Strategy document and future perspectives are reflected.
The executive director of 4SIM, Fariz Jafarov, pointed out that the 4th industrial revolution presents both unique opportunities and complex problems, and noted that there were important advances in the integration of advanced technologies and the strengthening of digital transformation during the year.
The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution participated in 2023 as an organizer and partner in more than 50 initiatives, more than 30 local and international events. During the year, important works were carried out in the direction of the application of 4SI technologies in the national economy and the preparation of the New generation economy strategy. In cooperation with Coursera, an international educational platform, about 7,000 citizens have registered to improve their digital knowledge. The access of higher education institutions in the country to the "Strategic Intelligence" platform of the World Economic Forum, as well as "4SIM talks" events related to the 4th industrial revolution took place.
The 4SIM team has prepared different research papers on "Successful solutions for the application of 4SI technologies in the national economy", the application of 4SI technologies in media, agriculture, health, education, energy and ports. Special mention should be made of the 4SIM chatbot related to the country's legislation, the 4SI solutions in customs, and the projects of strengthening the competitive advantages of Azerbaijani wrestlers by applying digital solutions.
In 2023, 50 students from 9 different universities got internships in 4SIM projects, participated in research in the field of 4SI technologies and supported events.
