The number of micro and small entrepreneurs exempted from profit or income tax on income they receive from innovation activities has exceeded 200.
9 more applications from SME entities to receive a “Startup” certificate have been received by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMEDA). The applications were considered at the next meeting of the Council of Experts, and a decision was made to issue a “Startup” certificate to 7 of them. Thus, the number of SME entities that have received a “Startup” certificate has reached 206.
“Startup” certificates were presented for the projects of “Aprimus” LLC’s platform for registration, control and analysis of medical services, “Nomadman Studio” LLC’s production of computer games, “Poolin Insurtech” LLC’s online platform for “insurtech” insurance solutions, “Remart Digital Solutions” LLC’s online sales and business process management platform for residential complexes, “Novalingua” LLC’s artificial intelligence-based online platform for teaching and assessing foreign languages, “Tokaz” LLC’s mobile application for managing charging stations for electric cars, and “Bahruz Gadirov’s online platform for presenting original ideas and projects to investors.
The “Startup” certificate exempts SMEs from profit or income tax on income they receive from innovation activities for a period of 3 years from the date they receive the certificate.
Micro and small business entities whose projects are in the development stage can apply to SME for a “Startup” certificate.
