On December 28, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (4SIM) held a meeting with students who had experience and volunteered during the last 6 months. Greeting the young people, the executive director of 4SIM, Fariz Jafarov, thanked them for their effective activities and congratulated them on the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year. He pointed out the students' interest in the 4th industrial revolution, especially the numerical superiority of girls in the internship program, and called them to be active and interested in learning.
In 2023, 30 students from 9 different universities experienced 4SIM projects, participated in research in the field of 4SI technologies and supported events. Students of ADA University, University of Economics, Presidential Academy of Public Administration, ASSU and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction were selected for their special activities. Students gained experience by working on 14 different projects on the fourth industrial revolution.
Fariz Jafarov talked about the work done by 4SIM in 2023 and the projects to be implemented in 2024. It was reported that in August, within the framework of the 4SI Academy, about 7 thousand citizens applied for online training on the Coursera platform. He noted that the project will continue in 2024 and that young people will be able to acquire important knowledge in the field of 4SI. The head of 4SIM called on students to actively participate in COP29, Baku ID, InMerge Innovation Summit and the international events jointly organized by 4SIM with the World Economic Forum next year.
At the end of the event, the applicants were presented with a letter of thanks on behalf of 4SIM, gift cards and a 6-week training course from the Coursera platform within the framework of the 4SIM Academy.
