Adobe has released a beta version of its AI assistant for PDFs. Acrobat Standard, Pro and Teams subscribers will be able to try it at no extra cost. The company plans to launch a separate subscription when the service exits beta testing.
The assistant can briefly repeat the text, offer and answer questions about the content of the document in the dialog interface, add links to a specific piece of text, etc. can do. Chatbot responses can be copied or pasted into a presentation to send via email.
Adobe has not specified how long the beta test will last. In the future, the company plans to expand the capabilities of the AI assistant: work with multiple documents and document types, edit with AI, integrate with Firefly, etc.
