AI systems development company secures $15 million investment

The artificial intelligence company Yutori, founded by former Meta executives, has secured a $15 million investment in a funding round led by Rob Toews from Radical Ventures. This round also saw participation from notable names such as Felicis, World Labs founder Fei-Fei Li, and Google DeepMind’s chief scientist Jeff Dean.

San Francisco-based Yutori develops intelligent AI systems capable of performing various tasks without human intervention. The company aims to go beyond simple chatbots by offering AI solutions that can take real actions on behalf of users.

Yutori focuses on optimizing large AI models after training to tailor them for specific applications. This method plays a crucial role in the development of advanced reasoning models such as OpenAI’s o1 and o3.

The company’s founders are experts with extensive experience in artificial intelligence. Devi Parikh, who led multimodal AI research at Meta, and Dhruv Batra, who worked on robotic systems, are the primary founders of Yutori. Additionally, experts involved in developing Meta’s open-source AI models, Llama 3 and Llama 4, are also part of the team.

Commenting on the investment, Yutori co-founder Devi Parikh stated that AI will become more widely used this year, making processes more efficient in areas ranging from food delivery to travel planning.
