A warehouse of the Wildberries marketplace in the Leningrad region of Russia was attacked by a drone. The warehouse caught fire after the attack.
The governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that the incident occurred at a logistics warehouse in the village of Novosaratovka, Vsevolozhsk district. According to him, three people were injured as a result, and their condition is assessed as moderately serious.
At the same time, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, announced that the drones targeted civilian infrastructure facilities in the city.
RWB (a joint venture of Wildberries and Russ) announced that the activities of its logistics center located in the settlement of Shushary were temporarily suspended in accordance with safety requirements.
Official information about the impact of the attack on logistics activities and the state of infrastructure has not been disclosed. According to local media, traffic on the Shushary section of the Moscow highway has been restricted, and city services are working to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
In addition, on the night of July 24, RWB announced that its sorting center in Simferopol had also been evacuated. Although some Telegram channels claimed that a fire had broken out there as well, this information has not yet been officially confirmed by local authorities or the company.
