Apple is reportedly exploring the use of new materials in future iPhone models. According to insiders, the company may replace aluminum with liquid metal technology in the iPhone 18 Pro model.
According to the information, Apple is currently working on both improved titanium and a special metal alloy called “liquid metal”. This material is distinguished by its lighter, stronger and better heat-conducting structure. At the same time, its surface is smoother.
It is reported that the company may first test the new technology in the foldable iPhone Ultra model. However, the main drawback of liquid metal is its high production cost.
Experts believe that Apple will either return to titanium material in the future, or make liquid metal technology one of the main standards.
