The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On measures to establish the “Government Cloud” (G-cloud) and provide “cloud” services” continues.
In accordance with the requirements of the Decree, another state institution – “Baku Metropolitan” CJSC has transferred its IT systems to the “Government Cloud”. The institution’s information systems and resources have been partially placed in the Baku Main Data Center owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC.
“AzInTelecom” has provided “cloud” services to “Baku Metropolitan” CJSC. Thus, the institution has ensured high availability of critical systems.
The “Government Cloud” project is being implemented by “AzInTelecom” LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies. Within the framework of the project, full or partial migration of IT systems of state institutions to data centers owned by “AzInTelecom” LLC is being implemented. As a result of migration, IT costs of organizations are reduced, information systems are maintained within the country - in a single center, and monitored 24/7.
“AzInTelecom” LLC is the first organization in the South Caucasus region to obtain the “TIER III” certificate, which sets international standards for “cloud” services.
