Batuhan Gültakan, who was dismissed from his position last week without any explanation, has been reinstated as the CEO of Getir. In his statement, he said: "We will continue to work with strength and enthusiasm to focus on our work and implement our plans."
At the same time, Yiğit Çağlayan, the CEO of GetirFinans, has been appointed as a member of the board. Batuhan Gültakan’s dismissal and his previous statements have sparked public discussions. He stated: "Last week, the Turkey Board of Directors, which includes Nazım Salur’s sons, dismissed me from my position without any explanation. I did not resign voluntarily."
Mubadala, a major investment company based in the United Arab Emirates, also announced its key role in the restructuring plan. The company declared: "We are determined to provide the financial support necessary for Getir to implement its 2025 plans and meet the budget approved by the board. We are eager to collaborate with all our stakeholders."
However, Getir’s founder, Nazım Salur, strongly reacted to this plan, saying: "This is an illegal move. They are trying to seize our rights."
