According to the General Administration of Customs of China, the country exported more than 10,000 humanoid robots to more than 90 countries and regions in the first six months of 2026.
Global demand for biomimetic robots equipped with artificial intelligence technologies continues to grow, said Lu Dalian, a spokesman for the agency. At the same time, exports of electronic components, computer parts and other high-tech products also showed double-digit growth.
According to the report, the total value of household cooling equipment such as air conditioners, electric fans and refrigerators exported from China against the backdrop of record heat amounted to 107.91 billion yuan. Officials note that the quality of Chinese household appliances is improving, and about 25% of these products currently belong to Chinese brands.
Earlier, Midea announced that it had urgently sent 200,000 air conditioners to Europe.
