For safer roads: AMAK and Bolt Azerbaijan begin cooperation

Azerbaijan National Automobile Club (AMAK) and Bolt Azerbaijan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in the direction of road safety, sustainable mobility and the development of modern transport solutions.

The memorandum reflects the joint commitment of both parties in the direction of creating a safer road environment in Azerbaijan, promoting responsible traffic culture and supporting innovative approaches in the field of mobility.

Within the framework of cooperation, the parties will consider the implementation of joint projects in the direction of road safety awareness campaigns, research and data-based analysis, training programs, security of corporate fleets, as well as the development of innovative mobility solutions. In addition, the development of cooperation between state institutions, the private sector and civil society and the promotion of dialogue on new trends in the field of urban mobility will also be among the main directions of cooperation.

Bolt has defined road safety as one of the main priorities of the company in the long term and is implementing various initiatives in this direction. The company supports the professional training of drivers through the Bolt Academy, in addition to continuously developing safety features within the application. To date, more than 3,000 drivers in five cities of Azerbaijan have had the opportunity to obtain a certificate by undergoing professional training with the financial support of Bolt.

In addition, Bolt contributes to increasing the knowledge of children and young people about safe road behavior by conducting educational sessions in the regions within the framework of "Road Safety" programs organized for schools and universities.

Maarfia Pashayeva, head of State Policy and Relations of Bolt Azerbaijan, said:

"Increasing road safety is not possible only with technological solutions. For this, education, professional driver training and cooperation between various parties are important. We believe that our cooperation with AMAK will contribute to the implementation of new projects in this direction and the formation of a safer mobility environment in Azerbaijan."

AMAK, the official automobile club of Azerbaijan, was founded in 1999 and is a full member of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). For more than 25 years, the organization has been implementing national and international projects in the direction of road safety, sustainable mobility, driver behavior and public awareness together with government agencies, international organizations and private sector partners.

Through this collaboration, AMAK and Bolt aim to jointly contribute to the development of a safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility ecosystem in Azerbaijan.
