In recent days, the inscription "FinTech" on a building located in the Narimanov district of Baku has caused widespread discussion on social media. This image gave many people the impression that a new FinTech center had opened in Baku. However, our research shows that no such center has been opened.
In fact, this building belongs to the "E-Manat" company and renovation work has been carried out here. After the renovation work, the building was renamed "FinTech Plaza". Photos taken during the construction process were circulated on social media, leading to misunderstandings.
Currently, the building is known as "FinTech Plaza", but this is not a new center, but simply a renovated version of the company's building.
