It is planned to provide the Sumgayit Innovation Center with official "Apple" status.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov at the opening ceremony of the Sumgayit Innovation Center.
He stated that "we should not view the Sumgayit Innovation Center as just an office space. This center plays the role of a place where ideas that add value to the formation and strengthening of the innovation culture in the country are created. The center aims to develop the startup ecosystem with a comprehensive infrastructure network and generally raise a new generation of innovative thinking".
In the near future, it is planned to certify trainers at the Sumgayit Innovation Center by Apple and obtain the center's official "Apple" status. Samir Mammadov continued, "This is an important issue, because young people are especially interested in these certificates, and this certification is very important for their future employment."
