A database allegedly belonging to OnlyFans users has been put up for sale on a hacker forum. The database allegedly contains information about 340 million users of the platform.
According to reports, the database put up for sale contains millions of lines of information about content creators and their followers. The database is asking for 0.313 BTC.
Although the person who leaked the information initially stated that the database was obtained from the internal systems of the OnlyFans platform, he later admitted that the platform had not been hacked. According to him, the information was collected based on old leaks and public profiles.
It is reported that previous data leaks from X (Twitter), Instagram, Spotify and other services were used to collect the information.
The information in the database allegedly includes usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, number of followers, likes, social network accounts and partial payment information.
After examining some of the information, the Hackread portal reported that some usernames matched public OnlyFans profiles. However, it was noted that many records were incomplete and some of the information was publicly available.
The portal could not fully verify the authenticity of email addresses and bank card details. However, experts emphasize that such databases increase the risks of phishing, blackmail and loss of anonymity for users.
