KPMG has launched a new AI governance center in Singapore, the Trusted Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence.
The firm also launched a new AI assessment service focused on governance, security, regulatory compliance and sector readiness. The service will help companies in different markets verify that their AI systems comply with local regulations.
The launch was attended by Minister of State Jasmine Lau, Singapore Economic Development Board Chairman Jermaine Loy and KPMG in Singapore partner Lee Sze Yeng.
KPMG said that the growing differences in AI governance standards between regions are increasing the need for such solutions. The new center will operate as part of the firm’s global “Trusted AI” strategy.
